Turns out it was only a gasket that needed replaced, but they also spotted a small coolant leak that had existed for quite a while. A big thanks to Frank and Rob for showing me exactly where the leaks were coming from, explaining what they would do to fix them, and getting us back on the road in a timely fashion.

When I dropped my car off the following week, I again reminded the person receiving the vehicle to please check the coolant because I suspected a leak. He confirmed he would, since he’d have to refill it anyway. However, no one called to let me know when my car was ready. After calling four times with no answer or update, I finally drove over—only to find that the car had been finished. The person at the front desk was rude, dismissive, and spoke down to me and my dad. He even claimed that I never mentioned the coolant issue, which is completely untrue. I used to be very happy with Car X’s customer service and have referred several people there in the past, but after this experience, I won’t be returning. The attitude and lack of professionalism were unacceptable.

I pulled in and requested roadside assistance since my car didn't come with a spare, but roadside wouldn't get there until 9. I waited for the store to open at 8 and went in to ask if they had availability or would be able to sell me a new tire and change it out before roadside could get here - figured it's a tire shop and they might be able to fit me in, but no big deal if they couldn't. After not greeting me when I walked in and just staring at me until I talked, they acted completely perplexed and inconvenienced that I was there. Like I said, it's no big deal that they couldn't perform the service, but I didn't really understand why they were so rude about it. I'm new to the area, but I know this will not be where I come the next time I need service.
