Unfortunately—and I say unfortunately because I truly like this chain of stores—but unfortunately there are employees who are either poorly trained or simply don’t want to be working there, and I’ll explain why. I bought a battery for my truck online, and the system said it was available at this store. After the purchase, I waited for the store to confirm that it was ready for pickup, and then I headed there in the evening. The clerk simply told me, “We don’t have this battery, go to another AutoZone.” I was like, what? The next day, I went back at a different time and was treated much better. Some managers explained that they really didn’t have that battery, but they could order it urgently and I could return the following day. Before leaving, I asked an employee if they could install the battery, and he said yes. As long as it wasn’t raining, they would definitely do it. Fine. On the third day, after waiting for this battery, I went to the store and it was finally there. But when I politely asked the clerk if they could install it, he simply said no—quite rudely. I asked, “No?” And he replied, “No, we’re not installing it. Here’s your battery.” So, I took the battery, went to another store, bought the tools I didn’t have, and replaced it myself. But now, if I want to get the core charge refund—that discount for returning my old battery—I still have to put the old one back in my car and drive all the way back there. This is definitely not the traditional way AutoZone operates. I’m extremely disappointed. I had spent nearly $400 and only needed them to install the battery for me, something they had already confirmed the previous day they could do. Then they refused. It doesn’t make sense, and it isn’t right.

What happend to auto zones man. The employee profile at ALL locations is terrible. People who rely on a PC to even know what a part is or does should NOT be in a parts store for automobiles

Every time I come here some lady has a serious attitude issue with the customers. It is not our fault you hate you job. Why not go to a place where the hatred in your heart will be at peace, Walmart is awaiting.
