- MMMarciaFeb 7, 20261.0Being yelled at for needing a battery install is NOT professional regardless of weather or closing in 30 mins. I work in customer service and I would NEVER treat a customer this way even 5 mins before closing. Especially with something so stressful like needing a battery. Also because this location was out of stock and I needed to go to another location to get one and they were too short staff for installation. And to think I left a positive review here just a few months ago about the same employee! I will not return! Not that it matters if I do. But it seems some professional training is needed on customer service.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
