- JSJeff SwaffordMar 21, 20261.0Yeah so I went in for power steering asked for a recommendation and they suggested regular fluid with stop leak. After confirming because he did not check him self to see what it specifically takes I found out my vehicle uses atf for the power steering. When told he should double check he wanted to get smart and show his computer. Which all showed powersteering with stop leak. What im saying is not only was the employee ignorant he was backed up by a computer that says to use a below par fluid. Another complaint is they tried to charge my 300 dollars for a powersteering resevoir when i found the same part on amazon for 90 buck. Autozone just doesn't have the know how it used to. Would highly suggest using Amazon auto parts for cheaper more reliable service . I hate suggesting a mega Corp like Amazon but they atleast know how to make it cheap and provide honest and accurate service
