    Just wanted to highlight the excellent service received today. I had an emergency today during work and had to get a brand new battery for my car and the closest location to me was on Ridge Ave in Oakley. To my surprise, one of your employees who helped me out last year at a different location just so happened to be here working. Mr. Joshua Clark was just as fantastic as he was the last time he helped me out! There was a line of 10+ people and he happened to be the only person working in the store by himself. He swiftly managed to get everyone taken care of extremely fast while also displaying above and beyond excellent customer service! The line of people were becoming impatient and a bit hostile but he maintained a positive attitude the entire time. He installed my battery so fast I barely had time to blink. I had to tip him for taking care of me during this random work conflict and he declined. He told me I could leave a review and promise to come back to work with him. So I wanted to follow through on my end. Mr. Clark is the TRUTH and his selfless efforts and sense of urgency are unparalleled to any other AutoZone I’ve ever been to. I told him ill personally only use AutoZone if I get to work with him or someone who can match his level of service! Hope this review reaches Corporate or a higher up who can recognize him for doing a great job!

    As a PSM of four years, I found this review difficult to write, but I believe the situation warrants attention. Yesterday morning, I broke a coolant hose clip on our daughter’s BMW and promptly ordered the Dorman hose clip assortment (P/N: 801-500) from the Ridge store after confirming it was listed as in stock (11:06am), with the intention of picking it up after work. At 4:42 PM, I received a call informing me that the item was not actually available and that a refund could be issued. While I appreciate the offer, it did not address my immediate need for the part. When I asked whether the item could be sourced, I was told it was available at the hub and could be delivered the following morning. Had the inventory been verified earlier in the day, this issue likely could have been resolved the same evening. As of now, I still do not have the part. This is not how we do business. While this situation is not an emergency, delays like this do impact customers’ ability to manage their daily responsibilities, including transportation to work, school, and other commitments. Most customers understand occasional delays, but timely communication is a reasonable expectation. Due to the uncertainty, I was ultimately forced to purchase the part from a competitor and anticipate my order be refunded.
