I won’t give this place not even a 1 star. I purchase a Chevy Tahoe 2016 there in may 2022. Put 7k down. The vehicle came with transmision issues. I told them about it. They wanted me to pay an arm and a leg to get it “ fixed”. Finally they decided to get it fix. Put a “new transmission” and fixed other stuffs. But then never fixed the door locks which I was told it was going to be fixed. After the “fixed the locks” they didn’t put the cover for the light in the door. I was told that they were going to give me a call to get replaced and never called me. They didn’t provide a vehicle for me to drive. This car costed me 47k I have paid 27k already. Including the down paymt. Car transmission blowed and when I told them about it. They came up with some cheap excuses. For a car that expensive which I believed the price was too high. I see these type of car selling for less these days. So their excuses were that mileage was too high and that the warranty has expired. It was a 3 years and I was told by Joe( previous service manager) it was 5 years warranty. Manager and services manager told me they already spent too much money fixing the car once. They were not going to fix it. Now I’m stuck with a $789.00 car payment for a vehicle I can’t not even drive. I could of buy a beat up car that could of last me longer than 3 years. Then they continue sending me mail to go and trade in my vehicle. Like this is not a joke. It’s really hurting me. I’m a single mother with 2 kids and this car has been causing nothing but headache. I get it is was a used car but I have buy cars from dealer before that have lasted me long time. They could of last many years if I I wouldn’t be rear ended. Now I’m still owe $20 k on this vehicle that is trash. Because the transmission cost is too high like $2500 and that’s without counting the labor and pain and suffering it has caused me. Plus there are some guys that were very disrespectful when I had to deal with the issue. One of them is called dennis. Very rude and apparently have not respect for females. So NOOO don’t buy from this place. Don’t waste your money and time.

I was happy with the work that was done. I didn't appreciate the wait. I understand the part had to be ordered but I shouldn't have to wait two weeks . Nor should I have to purchase a rental that long. I think something taking that long Jeff Tyler should provide a loaner when your spending 3000. Custo.er service should know more about promotions that are being offered at your dealership. I know this doesn't sound as good as you would like but overall I was happy withe the service. Just didn't like having to pay a extra 500 on a rental while spending 3000 with you.

First things first — I really didn’t want to do this. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized something needs to be said.
I purchased a brand-new 2026 Dodge Durango this past Sunday from Jeff Wyler in Canal Winchester. What should have been a memorable and exciting milestone was instead an awful experience filled with dishonesty, manipulation, and disrespect.
From the very beginning, I explained to the salesperson, Ben, exactly what I wanted — a new Durango — along with the price and monthly payment I needed to stay within. I also made it crystal clear that I am refinancing my home soon, so my credit was NOT to be run with more than two banks. Somehow, it was shopped to five. Completely unacceptable.
Even then, I was disappointed but not angry. I reiterated that I wanted a Durango, but I was pushed toward a Jeep Grand Cherokee I never asked for. Ben claimed it was $37,000, with $11,000 in rebates. I don’t love the Jeep, but I could’ve learned to love it for that price.
Except — that price was a lie.
The sticker price was actually $51,000. The rebates only brought it back down toward MSRP. There were no real savings, and I would never pay $51K for that vehicle. I left the dealership upset. Neither Ben nor his manager called to understand why.
⸻
A few days later, Ben contacted me again saying he found a Durango that matched my budget. The only reason I returned was because my credit had already been run multiple times, and I had a $60K approval from my own bank.
For context — I have purchased from this location before. My previous salesperson, Heather, was wonderful. She’s the reason I came back. If she was able to locate a Durango in 2017, I would have purchased from her again.
⸻
When I arrived to finalize the deal, it was supposed to be sign and drive. Instead, the day became a back-and-forth battle over payments and pricing. Days before, the payment was $697 — now suddenly it became $751. The only reason I ended up at $697 was because I found the solution by planning to sell my 2017 Durango privately.
I told Ben I didn’t want any add-ons besides GAP. He said finance would handle it. Yet when I got to finance, he had told them I requested a flashing back brake light — something I never heard of and never asked for. If I wasn’t paying attention, I would have unknowingly signed up for a service I did not want.
The finance manager — who was the ONLY person who did right by me — worked the GAP and maintenance package into my budget. I appreciate him.
⸻
But this is the part that guaranteed I will never return to Jeff Wyler in Canal Winchester:
After everything was signed, I came out of closing and Ben was gone. No congratulations. No delivery walkthrough. No photo. No explanation of features. I had to track someone down just to get the second key.
This was my first brand-new car purchase ever. I had my kids with me. This should have been a proud moment — and instead, I felt ignored and humiliated.
Another employee eventually came out to help and made excuses for Ben. Then he told me that if I wasn’t going to say anything positive, I should say nothing at all.
Let me be clear:
I will not protect a dealership’s reputation at the expense of my dignity.
I financed $58,000 and couldn’t even get a sincere thank-you.
I purchased a maintenance plan — and I don’t even want to bring my car here for service now. Every single opportunity to redeem this experience was wasted.
⸻
This was my first brand-new vehicle.
This will be my last experience with Jeff Wyler — and likely with their products altogether.
Thank you for the terrible experience.
