- RRRebeccaJan 20, 20265.0We were traveling home on Monday MLK day from a cheer competition in Indianapolis when our alternator went out We pulled into the advanced auto and Nick and Kayla were the most amazing angels on earth that day!! Nick came out in the freezing 14* weather to check out battery and determine if it was the alternator...Kayla was right there with him and it definitely was a rescue in progress! They offered us a warm seat inside hot coffee a restroom and got busy calling around to see who could get us on the road!! They ordered the alternator it arrived at 2pm then the tow truck of Mr Marlows another angel 😇...came and took us away! We were back on the road by 4 and made it home to North Carolina safely!! I hope the town of brookville and advanced auto knows just how fortunate they are to have these two beautiful souls representing and going above and beyond!! It felt so good to know there are still wonderful ppl living in the heartland of our beautiful country!! Thanks again guys these three NC girls are forever grateful!! Hope to see u guys again someday!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
