    I’ve been a valvoline customer for years. I feel stupid for never noticing before, the company policy is to put 3,000 miles on your next oil change sticker even if you purchase synthetic oil. So I thought I was saving money by being able to go longer in between oil changes when in actuality I was needlessly spending more money on expensive oil without the benefits. I feel that this is a deceptive practice and I want to be able to trust the company that does work on my vehicle. Today is the last time I will ever spend my money at a valvoline again. While getting serviced today, the guy checking me in was so worried / annoyed about getting my Groupon discount approved he did it immediately, forgetting to check my lights, blinkers and fluids. He left after and never saw him again. No receipt, no new sticker. I left and had to turn around and go back to get a new sticker. That is when I noticed the mileage discrepancies.

    So I get a call from my daughter at BGSU telling me one of her headlights was burned out. She bought a headlight at one of the auto parts stores that “installs the part for you” and lo and behold they said they couldn’t. Found the local Valvoline in Bowling Green Oh and told her to stop there. These guys were a class act. Installed the headlight in minutes at no charge. My daughter said the team there was very friendly and happy to help. Thank you for the excellent service and helping a college student out from a very happy dad.

    There was a great energy among the workers. They seemed eager to do a good job and I felt my car was in good hands. They were friendly and professional and communicated among themselves professionally and politely. I was impressed with this place compared to other 10-minute oil change places I had been in the past. You have a new customer!

    I have never had a bad experience at Valvoline as a 20 year old man. My girlfriend went in today to just get an oil change for her younger sister, in her sister’s car. The mechanic was unbelievably innapropriate to her, asking for her age, telling her that she needed a lot of work done (when I know she does not) and constantly belittled her for her little knowledge of a car that is not hers. I have seriously never been so ashamed of a place after hearing these words. Whoever the mechanic is needs to have a serious self reflection, to see if belittling a young woman in her 20s and trying to upsell her at every moment for a CAR THAT IS NOT HERS, makes them sleep better at night. She asked for an oil change, that’s all. The man who helped her finish the transaction and guided her out was fantastic, so thank you. Otherwise, deplorable honestly.
