- ADAyden DuffyDec 29, 20251.0I have never had a bad experience at Valvoline as a 20 year old man. My girlfriend went in today to just get an oil change for her younger sister, in her sister’s car. The mechanic was unbelievably innapropriate to her, asking for her age, telling her that she needed a lot of work done (when I know she does not) and constantly belittled her for her little knowledge of a car that is not hers. I have seriously never been so ashamed of a place after hearing these words. Whoever the mechanic is needs to have a serious self reflection, to see if belittling a young woman in her 20s and trying to upsell her at every moment for a CAR THAT IS NOT HERS, makes them sleep better at night. She asked for an oil change, that’s all. The man who helped her finish the transaction and guided her out was fantastic, so thank you. Otherwise, deplorable honestly.
