- ACAmy ClingmanDec 17, 20251.0I took my Jeep to have the battery looked at on 12/16. The guy working came out and hooked up the meter. He said you have enough cold cranking amps, your battery is fine. I said no it isnt, I had to be jumped twice today. I turn off the car and it won't crank back over. He said im not surprised because its a Jeep. I said what I have had my Jeep Wrangler for 4 years and no issues. He says imagine being on my side and what I see with Jeep people. So my husband jumped my Jeep and I drove home upset. I ended going to a competitor and got a battery. Imagine that it cranked right over. This morning it started, no issues. We have been going to this store for years. I am really appalled at the customer service and treatment I received.

My windshield wiper and arm were recently damaged and they were very helpful in finding the right wiper blade to fit the arm I had ordered separately. They don’t install windshield wiper arms, usually just the wiper blades and they did it all for me! I was very thankful as this was a minor repair, but was very stressful for the time it was broken.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
