I was called at 433pm on 10/24 and told I could not rent the vehicle unless I had a CC as I had an out of state license. We have no debt. We don't use CCs. We follow Dave Ramsey and have for years. So, I was obviously upset. I called the Costco travel, and they said the system showed I'd reserved it with a CC. I said well the local office is saying if it says debit they won't accept it. I asked if I could pay with cash, and I was told that was not an acceptable tender at Enterprise. How does the "system" accept my card at the reservation, but the people claim it will deny it in person because the card says debit?
