  Whistle Express Car Wash is a disaster — and their customer service is worse. The rollers hit my car during the wash. Not lightly — they slam into the vehicle. The soap barely works, the wash is incomplete, and the equipment clearly isn’t maintained properly. When I contacted customer service, they took their time responding, then hid behind a technicality. Because I emailed the next day instead of “same day,” they refused a rewash or refund. Apparently, if their machines damage or poorly wash your car, you have to inspect it immediately on the spot or they wash their hands of it. Even better, they suggested I should “check the vehicle before leaving the premises” — as if the burden is on the customer to catch their malfunctioning equipment in real time. This place used to operate properly when it was under Rain Forest management. Since the change, quality and accountability have collapsed. Broken equipment. Rollers hitting cars. Soap not working. And customer service that deflects responsibility instead of fixing problems. They don’t stand behind their service. They hide behind policy. They don’t care about your car. If you value your vehicle, stay far away.

  Showed up at whistle car wash at 5:58 on 2/25/26 a n Avon, Ohio. No glass cleaner or all purpose cleaner anywhere. No towels. Hoses broke on vacuums. No mat cleaner machine- sign says “out of order” pathetic!! I worked all day and got here after work to find this. Not the first time this has happened. Vacuums are always broke and you don’t know before pulling your car in..I’m discontinuing my membership. I’m tired of this.

  I don’t know that I can recommend the Whistle Express. Started out a little crazy. I’ve never been to this type of car wash before so didn’t really know what I was doing. I pulled in and the attendant waved me forward - so I drove. The attendant started shouting - I couldn’t understand anything he was saying. I assumed he was calling out progress to another attendant or something. Apparently he was telling me to turn off auto wipers and put the car in neutral. All I heard was “bahshdisjsj! Andueoenfjid! Sjdjiwjsnek! STOP!” I’m thinking, damn this has escalated quickly. All of a sudden I’m being scolded….he s shaking his head at me upset and said that he had to reset the machine. I told dude I couldn’t understand anything he had said before. He calmed down and explained what he’d said. I rolled up my window thinking it was all good. Then I hear him yelling again, “HANDS OFF THE WHEEL!”. He did not tell me that part in the calm portion of the conversation. It felt like in high school when youre annoying a teacher and they finally yell at you and you act like you didn’t just do anything wrong. Except I didn’t realize I had. It was an emotional roller coaster. It would have been all good and I was going to chalk the whole thing up to my inexperience at life and the awkward moments that occur because of this. However, I don’t know if I’ll go back here again. My car looked amazing, on 3 of the 4 sides. Everything was sparkling except the entire back is still completely dirty. Im not sure what happened but It doesn’t even look like it got wet. You can see where the roller mops went down the side and barely grazed the back corners. $20 seems a little steep for only 3 sides of my car.
