I went for an inspection and a few hours later was called to say my wipers were torn and needed to be replaced for the inspection, I told them that they were 2 months old and they said well there torn I said ok how he then told me the manager said to give me 10%off and the cost would be $90 i said I was not gonna pay that much so I went to the same auto parts store they get their parts from and they cost me $ 32 for the 2 I installed in 6 seconds and proceeded to ask the manager what was wrong with my old ones and he looked at them and their is nothing wrong ,( mind you I have been going to another mavis to all my tires, oil changes, wheel alignments tire rotation, tpms sensors for years and this is how I am treated by this company. Shame on this location, it should be shut down while the personnel get either properly trained or replaced, and the shop looks like a pig sty the person who did my inspection sticker also got the pillar filthy with dirt from his sleeve or hands . Very unprofessional. I wish I could give a negative star

This Mavis had do struts, tires and brakes in one day. All completed within their stated time frame or earlier at a price close to $600. Cheaper than a local repair shop! My vehicle drives like new now!

Several months ago I had a flat tire in Yorktown. After putting on the spare tire I went to the Mavis Tire on Kear Street. The service was good and I replaced all four tires. The problem came yesterday when I went to the hatch of my Subaru and found the spare tire missing. I called Mavis and was told they had two Subaru donut tires and one was mine. I went there and retrieved it.
In the months I drove around with no spare and they knew they had a customer without one but made no effort to track them down. I was fortunate to not have needed it.
Mavis didn't care about me after they made a thousand dollar sale.
Very disappointed.

I have no complaints about the service attitude of the staff at this store; But I Do have obvious doubts about their workflow and quality control.
I went for my annual inspection. About half an hour later, the staff told me that he would fail the inspection due to problems with the brakes and tires, and took me to check the issues on site. This included two front tires that were worn quite severely, and these two tires were actually purchased at this store two years ago. He explained that the wear was due to not performing tire rotation, and I accepted this explanation and agreed to proceed with the repairs.
In the end, I had four new tires installed, as well as two brake rotors and brake pads in total.
About two hours later, I received a call notifying me that the car was ready for pickup. I went to the front desk to pay and got my keys, then found my car in the back parking area. From the appearance, the tires and brake components were indeed new.
I went into the car, started the engine, the dashboard immediately displayed a warning that all four tires had low pressure. This surprised me very much. I had to drive to the air pump, where a young man helped inflate the tires and apologized, saying that he had already reminded the relevant personnel, but it was not handled.
I find this very hard to understand. As a chain tire store(with TIRE in their name), after replacing four brand-new tires for a customer, it is surprising that the most basic step of checking whether the new tires were installed and working properly was skipped. That’s it.
