  Wish I could give zero stars. THE TRUCK DIED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. Please understand how dangerous that it is!!!!! Truck overheated and later the battery died not once, but twice. The first time we had to FaceTime the staff for instructions on how to jump it. They offered no real concern. Really tried to blame us. Said we left the lights on. (It was day time, we hadn't touched the lights at all). The second time it failed, I had to flag someone down in streets of NY, now after dark, to jump it. I called the office, the staff that night kept saying "oh everyone is gone for the day, I don't know what to do, I just work here" I just work here? Meanwhile I'm on the side of the road with your truck, stuck. When I spoke to the owner, all he wanted to do was talk over me. The truck literally started bucking and the engine failed as we were driving and we had to pull it over to the side of the road. Thankfully we had room to maneuver and no one was hurt. The owner refused to compensate anything for our troubles. His only consolation was to offer us a coupon for a future rental. As if I would ever rent anything from them again.

  Wasted my time going there to pick up a trailer Just for some guy to come out look at my id then based his decision on that he says some dumb shit like We’re a small store that only deals local . If your a business that’s open and deals with other businesses it’s shouldn’t matter where you live I get you have the right to refuse business but this was a complete joke of an interaction better go to U-Haul or Home Depot my folks yall better go on ahead this ain’t a store for us. Lol

  Reserved a cargo van 10/21 for 11/1 online and it seems to not matter. I called a few days after to confirm my reservation and to ask a question about the insurance, I was told there was going to be a $20 fee, I agreed that was fine and asked if there was anything else I needed & they said no, and that was the end of conversation. Now on 11/1 I went to Barn in Woodside and said I had a reservation, one of the guys working there said he couldn’t find my reservation so had someone else help me, they said my reservation was cancelled because I didn’t call to confirm or to give my credit card details. I MADE A RESERVATION, CONFIRMED, & THEY DIDNT BOTHER TO CALL ME TO ASK IF THERE WAS ANYTHING I NEEDED? I’m renting from you guys if there was something you were missing from me you should have called me. I let him know I did call to confirm but he said there’s nothing they could do, they didn’t have any vans for me but confirmed they would be able to call me once more vehicles came for drop off. I left the facility before I lost my shit at this guy, they need a better system, they need better service. I left and searched for the nearest rental place and took an uber to Uhual and less than 20 mins later I had a rental, better new van, for just $60 more than what Barn was trying to charge. Dont waste your money at this place.
