  Very professional, detailed, and transparent. Really good customer service. The repairs my vehicle needed were categorized by urgency allowing me to have control of the my budget. I feel confident enough to recommend this shop to family and friends.

  My reasoning for scoring Scruggs is in the second paragraph. For most people, I imagine they will have a good experience at Scruggs. I've been to Scruggs several times as it's located nearby and compared to other automotive shops in the area I found their costs and service times to be reasonable. The staff is polite all well. With all that said I did, however, during my last visit to Scruggs encounter an issue in which during a routine inspection they accidentally put a small dent in my hood. They said it occured while opening the hood. They had less headroom than anticipated. I was personally informed by Scruggs themselves about it and I commend them very much so for being honest. With all that said, this isn't something they are able to fix on-site so I was told they would coordinate with Dave Smith Ford across the street on Transit and pay to have it fixed and I would be contacted within 24 hrs with the details, but after 48 hours was not contacted. I personally contacted them instead to discuss it but the employee who took my call was unaware of the incident and said I would immediately be called back. After another day went by without a call back, I followed up a few more times consecutively but continued to be placed on hold each ending with the call being disconnected. Had it not been for the lack of follow-through on their end, I would certainly rated Scruggs 5 stars.

  Scruggs on Transit Road did an excellent job of taking care of my car’s rapidly deflating tire. Their professionalism goes beyond what I have ever seen at any car repair shop. Isabella is awesome at greeting customers and helping them feel welcomed and explaining every step of the way what is going on with your car. I love this place. My repair was handled quickly and I am very happy my car is safe again to drive on the slippery roads of snow and ice. Thanks to Scruggs! I highly recommend them!

  Great shop! Got me in and out in 30 minutes without an appointment for an inspection. I know that may sound like a normal shop, but to be honest I had been struggling to find a shop that would actually inspect my car because it's an EV. I had already gone to 6 different shops over the 2 previous weeks and they all either said 6 hour wait or just couldn't inspect my vehicle because they didn't have the proper lift. I get that EVs have different jack points but honestly some of the previous shops I tried just felt like they didn't want to bother because inspections are such low ticket items and EVs don't have oil changes and other items to up charge with at those appointments. The staff at scruggs was very professional and polite especially for a walk in and I really appreciate that they accommodated me quickly that morning and got me on my way. The funny thing too is that just this week I've had 3 other people mention Scruggs in conversation and how much they like the shops and how good they all were so keep up the good work guys. It's clearly getting out how quality of a shop you are. If you are looking for a good auto shop for a tesla/EV this is definitely the place. More than likely they are just as good for ICE vehicles as well so give them a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed
