- JMJustin MainesDec 15, 20251.0I was dealing with the Northtown Land Rover dealership and was in line to have them bring over a vehicle that was traded in to this dealership which still needed to be inspected and serviced, a 2018 Audi Q3 with 17k miles. I had four people involved, Scotty, Adam, and Tom, the general manager at Land Rover, and Daniel from this dealership. After waiting for 4 days to see this vehicle which I was intent on purchasing, I was told by Tom, that the manager at this dealership, Todd, did something unethical in allowing another customer to put money down on the vehicle before it had gone through inspection and service, which is illegal in NYS, so that he could secure the sale for himself. It is despicable tactics like this that earn car dealerships the stigmas that they are known for. If you’re reading this and you’re considering doing any form of business with Northtown Auto, I implore you to take your business elsewhere. These people don’t care about you, they care about money. And Todd, don’t reply to this asking me to call you, you couldn’t even answer my email. You can answer to the DMV.
