What should have been a straightforward rental turned into a two-day ordeal filled with frustration, disrespect, and a complete lack of professionalism. Despite having everything arranged through our insurance and even having our insurance representative speak directly with them over the phone, the staff—particularly manager named Edward (Eddie)—handled the entire situation poorly. Instead of helping or communicating clearly, Eddie was combative, raised his voice multiple times, and even spoke rudely to our insurance representative. After calmly asking that they lower their tone and handle the matter respectfully, we were told to leave the office. This was after we had already waited for hours—with our children, including an infant—in the car, trying to get a simple resolution. Two full days later, they still could not figure anything out, forcing us to take our business elsewhere. Our insurance agent ultimately transferred our reservation to another Enterprise location—and we walked out of that office with a car in less than 10 minutes. That alone speaks volumes about where the real issue was. The unprofessional and dismissive behavior at this White Plains branch was beyond disappointing and does not reflect the level of service one would expect from a company like Enterprise. I hope upper management reviews this location’s practices and staff conduct closely because no customer should ever be treated this way. Do not bring your business to this location.
