  The experience with this Alamo did NOT start off well. The car that was given to me was filthy on the inside. I came out of pocket to take it to the car wash. I had taken this trip because of a family event. Upon driving the car, the engine light came on and the acceleration stopped working while driving which was scary. I was told by Alamo at 3:30pm that I would have to go all the way back to the airport after waiting for a tow truck which was scheduled to arrive at 6pm when I had the family event at 5pm. I was NOT going to miss my family event and that was disrespectful of them to ask that. I went to the airport (they sent me an Uber) at 3:45pm to get a new vehicle and rushed back to shower and go to the family event. The car was still not picked up. I believe it was picked up closer to 7pm. While that was a disaster, very frustrating and a huge unprofessional inconvenience, when I returned the second rental back to the airport, I spoke with the manager of Alamo (Isaac) there and he sincerely apologized for everything that had happened. No one had informed him. He said to me that service is the utmost importance to him and he likes to lead his team by example. He was apologetic, professional and very helpful when it came to handling remediating the situation. So again, while it started terrible, it ended up being okay. I just hope this never happens again. Thank you Isaac.

  I was satisfied at first that I got a free upgrade to a four wheel drive truck till I realized it did not come with step assist. I assumed it would since it was a brand new truck. My mother was having difficulty getting in and out of the truck. I called and was told I can switch out the truck at the nearest airport but it was informed that there was no Alamo there and I would not be able to switch out the vehicle. I was very upset that I wasted my fuel consumption and most importantly my time trying to do it
