  I am a bit of a tinkerer, and I am familiar with the things that are required to do good car maintenance. I found the staff to be extremely thorough and most importantly interested in me saving as much money as possible. I will certainly come back here for more car services.

  We recently brought one of our Jeeps to the Mavis Discount Tires located at 855 Old Country Road in Westbury, NY for new tires, and our experience was outstanding. From the very first phone call, Andy—the Manager—set the tone with his professionalism, customer‑first approach, and very competitive pricing. We were so impressed with him that we scheduled our appointment on the spot specifically for a day he would be in working. On the day of service, Jerimiah, the technician, delivered high‑quality work and they honored the excellent pricing Andy had arranged for us. This was our first time having a vehicle serviced at Mavis Westbury, and we left impressed not only with the technical quality but also with Andy’s leadership. Thanks to Andy and his team, Mavis Westbury has earned new loyal customers in us. We will be recommending this location to our car club members, friends, and across our social channels.   On Monday Dec 8 i was in the Mavis D.T. on Old Country Rd I purchased 2 Tires for my 20 Nissan Rouge AWD undenounced to me & according to Nissan Dealer & Google you just cannot replace only 2 tires on this AWD vehicle because the the difference between the circumference of the tread depth of the new tires & the worn tires will cause the AWD system to unevenly distribute power to all the wheels like your on a slippery surface causing the power train (differential) to overheat and basically tear itself apart causing extensive damage requiring replacement and according to the Nissan Dealer that's exactly what happened on Dec 10 I went back to Mavis and showed them the written explanation from Nissan along with the Google article backing up everything Nissan had told me and Put in writing on my repair estimate anyway to make a short story long I felt and still due that Mavis being a Tire retail store should have know this Fact and informed me about it and did not and should being a responsible dealer should at the very least except some of the responsibility for but the store Mgr wouldn't and told me to call there corp. office which I did and got only the Corp. run-around they were supposed to call me back & they did the first time and there Jr mgr. Stephane basically told me I'm sorry but there was nothing they could nor would do !! I called the Corp. Office again only to get the same run-around after I explained again about the Google article & the written explanation from Nissan Leaving me with no other recourse but to take them to Court for the $5000.00 cost of the Repairs at the Time I was willing to work something out with Mavis but Now Not A Chance simply because of the shear unempathetic response from there store & from there Corp. office so see you in Court Sparky Peter H Read less Nissan A. 020 Dec 4, 20
