    Extremely disappointed and will never be returning here. I booked an appointment using the website scheduling tool for Sunday at 11am. Confirmation email received and appointment confirmed via email at that time. I show up on Sunday at 10:50am and the front desk person says my appointment is not going to be honored because I booked online. Extremely frustrating, so I rebooked for Tuesday at 10am after the front desk person told me that was their next availability. I returned Tuesday at 10am and was told my appointment would be pushed behind another person who also booked at 10am because they booked first, using the online booking tool. Absolutely ridiculous to be able to make an appointment online, have it not be honored, reschedule, and then my rescheduled appointment is also not honored. Ridiculous.

    The worst vehicle service I have ever had! First, we severely overpaid for one caliper, rotor. We had 2 new front brake pads installed under the "lifetime warranty". We were originally told the car would be ready at the end of the day, then had to wait 3 days to get it back, because they "couldn't get a part". I had to bring it back because of the awful screeching noise that happened immediately after leaving the parking lot. The manager was outside smoking when I arrived to bring the car back the 2nd time, she told she would be there in a few minutes after she finished her cigarette. I watched the mechanics play football in the parking lot while I waited for someone to assist me. At least 3 times they hit parked cars with the football and laughed while I watched them play. I could not believe what I was seeing! Nor could I believe the lack of Management and customer service. Brandon waited on me, who was kind but could not remember that we had spoken the day before. He told me to bring the car in on Monday, and it would be "priority" on Tuesday am. He kept asking "did you have an appointment?" so obviously he did not make the "appointment" when we spoke. Anyway, the brakes were even worse after bringing it back for repair. I brought my car to a trusted mechanic and got a call that the front brake pads were put on BACKWARDS! He said, "they literally say inside and outside on them". So now I am paying to have Mavis' uneducated work corrected. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND MAVIS, WEBSTER COMMONS LOCATION.... EVER!

    Communication was terrible. Booked an appointment online for an oil change and NYS inspection for a Monday, was called to confirm the appointment a few days later and again stated oil change and NYS inspection. Showed up for my appointment and repeated to the desk staff I was here for an oil change and inspection. Realized later my inspection sticker wasn’t updated. Called to ask for a sticker and was told that they don’t do inspections on Mondays and that should have been communicated to me, which it was not, because new employees aren’t being trained appropriately. Waste of time paying for an over priced oil change and now have to scramble for an inspection appointment at the end of the month.

    Absolutely unreal. This was, without a doubt, the most dysfunctional, unprofessional experience I’ve ever had at any business. I had a simple appointment—remove two snow tires and replace them. That’s it. Instead, I sat there for TWO HOURS while absolutely nothing was done. No updates. No explanation. No accountability. The front desk was a complete dead end—on the phone forever, clearly unable to manage anything, while customers stood there being ignored. The entire place felt chaotic and out of control. Staff swearing openly, several looking completely unkempt, others just standing around doing nothing. No urgency, no organization, no leadership. It honestly felt like no one was running the place. At one point, a staff member walked right past me without even acknowledging I existed—no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. That pretty much sums up the level of “service” here. Another customer was there for nearly two hours for a basic inspection—same story. Nothing done, no communication, just sitting there wondering what was going on. Phones were getting answered, but if you were physically standing in front of them, you didn’t matter. And the best part? After two hours, my car is brought back with the EXACT SAME TIRES I came in with. Not touched. Not started. Nothing. No apology. No explanation. Just handed back like that’s acceptable. Because of this complete failure, I ended up paying a late fee to pick up my kids from after-school care—something that never would have happened if this place had even the most basic level of competence. What makes this worse is that I’ve had good experiences here in the past. Clearly something has changed—ownership, management, something—and it has completely fallen apart. This isn’t just bad service. This is a total breakdown of communication, accountability, and basic business operations. Avoid this place at all costs. Seriously—go anywhere else.

    I had a great experience with Victor. He was so kind, patient, and very helpful with an issue. I explained to Victor that I wanted to get the tires rotated on my 2023 jeep renegade because the steering wheel kept veering to the right. He immediately said it was an alignment issue. I told him we just brought new tires, had issue with alignment prior, so we took it to the dealership to get it fixed. We told the dealership it was not fixed, but they said it was a tire problem. So that's when we went to Mavis and met this kind man Victor. He offered to check the vehicle out and to take a picture to take back to the dealership to show proof that there still was a problem with alignment. Sure enough, Victor was able to prove to me that it was alignment issue. He saved me so much money. I am truly grateful for his kindness in helping me out. He didn't charge me for checking the jeep out. I highly recommend going to Mavis in Webster, NY. You will not be disappointed by their amazing service.
