  What started out as a wonderful experience ended up being something less than satisfactory. On the positive side, the web site was simple to navigate and making the repair appointment was very easy. The technician arrived on Saturday (2/21/26) at the scheduled time and was very professional. He did a very nice job of replacing the windshiled and reinserting the registration and state inspection stickers. I had ordered the full service with replacement of the wipers. At the end of the service, the technician checked his truck and discovered that he did not have the correct size replacement with him. He stated that he would return after work on Monday (2/23/26) and install the new wipers and that he would not put in the charge until the service was completed on Monday. I had no reason not to believe him. However, the charge was indeed added to my credit card on that Saturday, and though I waited for his return on Monday, he never showed up or called. I put in a customer service complaint at the Safelite web site, but never got a response. So on Tuesday (2/24/26), I contacted both Safelite customer service and my credit card company by phone requesting a refund. While the windshield installation was great, I don't like dishonesty so I will find an alternative if I ever need the service again.

  I would total recommend SafeLite for your windshield replacement. They were very accommodating setting m6 appointment and rh3 consultant was very professional!

  I had to wait a few months to write this as the service was the worst I have ever had. I scheduled online. To start off I get a call saying they need to reschedule as they don’t have my glass and I shouldn’t have been able to schedule so fast. Then they come to install it and break the plastic on my van, use glue to hold it down. Bend the hellout of my antenna cause the installer was too lazy to take it off and used string to fold it over and tie it down. This also has now made the antenna base loose from all the pressure put on it. After the install I can hear air coming in the vehicle so I call for them to look at it. Nothing wrong they say it must be the rubber edge they installed so the tech proceeds to glue it down. I call again for the air and water in my vehicle. I’m told it is residual from the install and nothing is wrong again. I had to show up at the shop in a rain storm for them to agree something was wrong, maybe the water pouring into my vehicle to the point they couldn’t deny it. They scheduled another appointment to fix/replace the window and gave me a box of paper towels to help with the water. You know, the water pouring in running down my dash, into the roof liner and down onto me. I bring it in to the appointment and they say we found an issue from the original install and corrected it. You should be good to go now. Really? I think I told you that weeks before and you did everything to deny it. 4 appointments to get it right, repeated denial of my complaints, below poor quality install. I’m self employed, so I’m out 10 - 12 billable hours, a broken antenna and a giant black glue streak on my van. That’s the end result. I wouldn’t recommend safelite to anyone ever. I’m sure I will get the lifetime warranty bs they like to give. But why would I loose more work time to get things fixed by you when they should have never happened to begin with.

  They got it done and so far it’s ok. I dropped my car off first thing and left it all day. Was told it would be done by 5. Was not done till 6:20! No phone call no update no nothing on that it was going to take longer than 5. If they had told me it wasn’t going to get done that late I would have rescheduled as another day was ok but no communication at all. Had to cancel my plans as I had no car for 80 minutes had to wait.
