  Deceptive business practices, I was scheduled to return a vehicle to this location on Sunday at 11:30 AM, however after dropping off family to the airport, I was delayed until 12:04 PM to my surprise and dismay, the location was closed at 12 PM and there was no opportunity to drop the keys for the vehicle or to leave the car securely on the lot. This triggered me having to call enterprise corporate and the rep told me ‘there is no after hours service’ available. I was then advised to figure out the next available drop off location. I learned that the fee for transporting from one location to another was at the sole discretion of the location of original rental. Without knowing how much it would cost, I decided against dropping off at a JFK or alternative location instead return the car myself on Monday morning. Naturally, I was charged for an extra day of usage of a vehicle which was both inconvenient and unnecessary. When I spoke to the team and requested to speak to a manager, the manager avoided coming up front and discussing the issue with me. I also wanted to raise an additional issue of concern about safety at the location as when I arrived on Sunday there was an extremely disgruntled customer who discovered he would not be able to pick up a rental because he too had arrived past 12 PM. Again, these concerns and practices would be best discussed with customers before contracting a car when there are very stringent windows of time, especially on the weekend, which would be a popular and preferred time. I am now under the impression that this drop off structure is by design to force an additional fee. I am disappointed in how it was handled and implemented as well as the fact that had I been a costumer who lived out of town I would have been put in a serious bind.

  This enterprise is horrible. They gave me a Volkswagen Atlas basically on empty and said I could fill it myself and return it on empty. I decided to go with a smaller car and I returned the Atlas to the Patchogue location after I had just put in $40 for gas. I had dealt with Evan and told him this and he told me to call this location and tell them, so I did and then they asked to speak to him and when he got off the phone he told me I would get the $40 back along with my deposit when I return the car and he would put a note in the computer. I then called to extend the rental and there seemed to be extra charges, so I called the valley stream location to talk about this and she wasn’t very pleasant. I then asked her about the full tank of gas I put in the Atlas and The girl on the phone said we don’t reimburse for gas and I had told her about Evan speaking to someone and how there should be a note, nope nothing, and when I asked to speak to the district manager of course they weren’t available and would have to call me back and I have yet to hear from them. Of course I will be calling my credit card company and disputing the car rental charge saying they over charged me
