I came in to replace two broken wheel studs - a job that should’ve been relatively quick and easy normally. After waiting for several hours with lackluster communication about the progress of the work, I was informed that they had destroyed the threads in my driver’s side front brake caliper that are used to affix the caliper in place. There were apparently no parts around to fix this blunder, so the mechanic spent a while jerry-rigging the caliper back on the car. When I asked about the safety of their repair, the employee I spoke with basically shrugged and implied that it may not be safe and I’ll probably need to pay for brand new caliper soon. I brought my car in to Mavis Troy for a basic repair and left several hours later with a potentially unsafe and damaged vehicle due to their negligence. I am extremely displeased with my experience here and will do my absolute best to not return in the future and I encourage anyone needing any kind of work on their vehicle to consider the many other options in this area.

I have a breakdown from my mechanic that is fine. My brakes and rotors are less than a year old.I only wanted to get all season tires but they tried to pick the car apart to get more money. They did not have me walk under the vehicle while it was up like my mechanic does to show me anything they just had the customer service person setting up appointments telling me that my car needed all this work on a voicemail call. She also told me that her Regional manager was there and would discuss discounting my tires since I received an email for $79 a tire but paid a lot more than that. I spoke about getting financing and she did not know how to respond and told me to call the people in the pamphlet. The people in the pamphlet did not speak English so I could not fully discuss financing. on top of that stem caps were not even put back on the tires. They didn’t even peel The plastic off the tires. The girl tried to be polite, but she does not know anything and the workers are ignorant, and trying to make money by pointing out unnecessary I didn’t even get to speak to the regional manager, who supposedly was there. I have to have my mechanic go through my car because it did not feel right driving it today after service from Mavis. My brakes were fine and now they’re skipping the girl asked for me to do an alignment and before I got my tires put on the car drove straight and now it doesn’t don’t go there!
