A while back I brought my jeep in for an inspection, and they did not latch the hood. Luckily I noticed before I hit the highway. Next, and final visit was oil, and tire rotation. I marked the tires, they did not rotate them. So I re changed my oil because they probably didn’t do that either.

Jeanette was really helpful and understanding with the specific situation on my vehicle. Robert and Badger were also helpful with letting me know what needs replacing soon and what to look out for.

Had an appointment today to get my brakes checked out because I just got them done about eight months ago and they started making a noise. The brakes and rotors were changed about eight months ago or less got to the shop at 9 o’clock for my 9 o’clock appointment three cars went in before mine when I already had an appointment and I was there the day before waiting in three hours. That’s why I made the appointment for Sunday morning at 9 AM when they opened up, they said that I had a caliper that was malfunctioned in, which wasn’t a big deal. OK fine replaced it to brakes and rotors are under warranty and I just have to pay for labor. I finally got out of there at 2:50 PM after supposedly they ordered the wrong part then the mechanic stripped 4 of my wheel studs those are the things that your lug nuts go onto that hold your tire in the place. They had to order another one because he did it again and then gave me $100 off the caliper which was marked up from $65 from Advance Auto to $208. I want the district manager to reach out to me. Also, they refuse to give me the person’s name and our phone number and told me all I can do is give me corporate’s number. my break still feel a little funny. I press on the break and it goes down to the floor. I have to pump the brakes in order for it to actually work. Not very happy with this at all

I could not be more disappointed or recommend a place less than Mavis!!! A couple years ago I bought my wife new tires for Christmas at this Mavis on 5th Ave in Troy. After the tires were installed my wife noticed a clunking sound when she turned left. She brought it back to Mavis, they took a look, and couldn’t figure it out. They threw up their hands and sent her on her way. “Not our fault,” they said. Then she brought it to our mechanic and they couldn’t figure out why the clunking sound was happening but they rotated the tires. The clunking stopped. A year later we had the tires rotated again and the clunking was back. What the heck? So my wife brings it back to ou mechanic and they discover that one of the tires was a different size. And, now, the tires had worn unevenly and she needed new ones. We tell Mavis and their offer? Buy four new tires and they would give us one of the tires for free. Unreal. We talked to the Troy store and the national office and they wouldn’t budge. One free tire. They should have replaced all four tires for their careless mistake. Who knows what damage was done to the power train also. This company doesn’t stand by its work. Embarrassing!
