  Great experience! Friendly agents at both check-in and check-out! It was my first time at the National Car Rental location at Syracuse airport, and I would recommend anyone traveling here for work or pleasure to use this location. Mo took care of me when there was a car issue. He made sure everything was corrected and that I was satisfied with their solution! Thank you! This is why I am a loyal National customer!

  As a longtime Avis loyalist, I decided to match my status with National to see what the experience was like — and I’m genuinely impressed. From the moment I arrived, Mary greeted me with warmth and professionalism that immediately set the tone. With my Executive Elite status, I was upgraded to a 2025 Audi A5. The car had around 38,000 miles on it, but you’d never know — it was in excellent condition throughout. The only hiccup was a fuel level discrepancy at pickup; the tank was at 3/4 full, and I ended up overfilling it on return. The agent handling my check-in was gracious enough to issue a fuel credit for the inconvenience, which I really appreciated. What stands out most about National is how human the entire experience feels. After years of renting cars, I can say their in-person customer service is the best I’ve encountered. They’ve earned a loyal customer.

  Had a wonderful experience in Syracuse. Staff was very friendly, especially Sarah. Being an Emerald Club member gives you the opportunity to choose your car. And returning was easy as well.

  Overall, I had a very positive experience. The car was clean and very well maintained. Pick up and drop off were also incredibly smooth. The only downside was I wasn’t able to get a hold of anyone at the desk. My flight has been delayed and I wasn’t due to land until after close. I was hoping to reach someone directly and confirm my travel plans and my reservation, but was unable to. It worked out but being able to get in touch before my flight would have been incredibly helpful. Aside from that, everything went well, and I would definitely consider renting again!
