  Reservation was for 12:30am and I was stranded at the airport. Nobody was at the counter. Had to sleep at the airport with my child. Customer service was not helpful and kept repeating the hours of operation. They offered no assistance. I am very disappointed.

  Convenient access to vehicle for pick-up and drop-off. Courteous and competent help all along the way. Car was clean and serviceable just as expected.

  Decided to try National SYR back in 2021, after renting from Hertz & Avis and have been with them since. Great service, staff, and car selection (including Audi, BMW, MBZ, Volvo, Land Rover, Cadillac, and rarely even Maserati for upgrades). During one of my first experiences, I booked a Tesla Model X available on the site, extremely excited that they finally adopted the electric SUV (EUV). Arrived with a huge disappointment since the car was never available and the staff at SYR has never even seen the car. Spoke to the manager Bri (I believe she has moved up in position and moved to a different branch); she was extremely understanding and was able to switch me to a equivalent sized SUV albeit not electric (the EUV available was a volvo that was a lot smaller than the Model X) and treated me with respect. Even recognized that I was a military member and thanked me for my service! The next experience in Dec 2023 was also superb. Initially came in with a reservation of an Audi A4 but had a previous upgrade. Though staff Marc/Dino said that I just missed an upgrade (previous client just rented an A5) the attendant Anthony overheard and said they may have just received one. After only a few minutes of waiting, they got me into a brand new A5. What a great team striving to make their customers happy! Another visit in Feb 2024 when I rented a full sized vehicle, though clean and new, did not love the specific brand. Went back to Marc and asked if it is possible to get a different vehicle on the lot. He told me he will try his best and immediately called his supervisor. Viola! Upgraded into a luxury SUV for being a long-time repeat Emerald Club customer. Furthermore, Marc even found the backpack that I accidentally left on the original rental before the switch and returned it to me before I headed out! Another 2 great recent experiences in Nov & Dec 2024. I’d especially like to recommend Sarah L, the CE manager. Not only did she find the vehicle I requested, she had responded to my concerns with efficiency, grace and understanding, consistently. Sarah has provided unparalleled, sensational customer service, and my experiences just keep getting better! She is a textbook example of what an amazing manager should to be like. Everyone at the SYR branch: Managers Sarah L, Bri, attendant Anthony and staff Marc G all strive for excellence. You have made me a lifelong client. Keep up the wonderful work Sarah, Bri, Anthony, Marc/Dino, and National SYR!
