I needed brakes for 1 vehicle and was told that the black Friday brake deal was "$200-$250 per axle." When I showed up to pick it up, I was charged $1,100. I refused to pay that amount, so the manager "was able to get it down to $650 + tax." I gave up and paid......Then looked at the receipt and was charged $780 + tax. There was a 'total job discount' of $650 off applied to the 'original' bill. I stopped back down to inquire, and the person remembered the original quote and agreed that I was wronged. I attempted to speak with the district manager about this deceitful, illegal practice of charging a card more than the price, but was not successful. The DM spoke with the manager and didn't see a need to speak with me. The original bill of $1,100 - a $650 discount comes to $450. I was charged $780. There is literally no other way to explain it. The MANAGER OF THE STORE took my original bill of $1,100 (which shouldn't have been more than $500), and INCREASED IT to $1,430, THEN applied a $650 discount. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS!!!!!

- DCD CDec 15, 20251.0We had a terrible experience switching over our son’s winter tires at Monro in Fairmount. They ended up disposing a perfectly good snow tire and would not admit the error. They ordered the wrong tire and then claimed that we ordered the wrong size. Long story short, after 3 appointments we still do not have four snow tires and they recommend we buy yet another one from them. I can’t convey how frustrating it was dealing with them. I’m almost in tears thinking about how awful the experience was. Avoid this place! They work on commission and do not care about the quality of their work.
