Years ago they had a wonderful representative.. Dale. He was incredible..honest..informative.. kind. He then left to work at another larger auto seller. I began to have leaks in my tire valves a year ago..and the TMPS would constantly be turning on.. At that time I went to Mavis and there was an elderly man managing..He told me that I needed new sensors ..I explained to him that the sensors were working fine..in fact too well. He was very resistant to my explanation and so I left...and continued frequently filling my tires with air. Well..I'm happy to say..we are back to having a good experience now that the previously mentioned manager is no longer there! I went into the shop last week ..dreading an interaction with the previous manager..and found he no longer is working at this location. KEVIN.. was AMAZING! They managed to get me in immediately and changed 2 tire valves and attached my battery charger leads. It all happened in 1/2 an hour..and since I had explained my previous experience..did not charge me for the service! I was handed my keys and told "Merry Christmas"! This was completely unexpected..and GREATLY appreciated. It shows that they truly appreciate their customers and they will do the right thing to rectify a situation. A HUGE THANK YOU TO KEVIN .. YOU ARE WONDERFUL. And Mavis is fortunate to have KEVIN as a representative of their company.

The person at the counter was friendly from the moment we walked in. While we waited, we could hear him dealing with computer issues that were affecting inspections, and he handled every call with real empathy. He took the time to apologize to people and explain the situation clearly, which says a lot about how he treats customers. The shop was not the fastest that day, and it seemed like they might have been a little short staffed for the season. Even so, everyone we interacted with was kind, helpful, and committed to doing the job right. They took responsibility for the problems caused by the machine going down and made sure people knew what was going on. In a world where everyone expects instant results, it was refreshing to see a place that prioritizes quality work and genuine customer service. If that is what you value, this is a great place to go.

Dave at Mavis (East Syracuse) was extremely nice and told me they were very busy but he would take care of it as soon as they could. I called 3 tire shops before this and they all said they couldn’t fix the tire for a week minimum for a an appointment! Thanks to Mavis Discount tire I was able to get my car back on the road within a day, I’ve been coming here for years because the service is always amazing. 10/10 would recommend for any of your car needs!
