Regional manager represented they would pay invoice from the repair shop and are now trying to offer a settlement for less than the inflicted damage. Nothing but lies & games, they still have not produced proof of insurance despite asking over a dozen times. Absolutely caution anyone from getting work done at an uninsured, incompetent, negligent auto repair shop! I was not a customer at Mavis. They had just placed new tires on a customer's vehicle, which got not even 50ft from the store, and the tire flew off and damaged my Challenger when it hit. The tire scraped my front bumper, my side panel, and damaged my rim. Their customer was completely missing a tire with their car slammed on the ground. Their manager told the police, on camera, they take full responsibility for the accident and would make things right without insurance. The incident was on Nov 1st. It is now over 6 weeks later and they have done nothing but make false representations and lies. They also, apparently, do not have insurance! Since they will not provide it whatsoever for me to file a claim since they are having a hard time taking accountability for the over $4,000 damage to my car and also rental car coverage I will need. They said I can file on my own insurance, which is absolutely not happening! If all I did was put tires on a car all day, I think I would know enough to put lugnuts on a tire before sending out the door. Absolutely wouldn't dare trust anyone that incompetent with my car! I will be escalating this claim because now my car has a wheel alignment issue and has become undrivable from the significant delays in getting the repair work taken care of. So instead of taking care of this early November, I now don't have a usable car and need to have it fixed right before Christmas. I am glad though their incompetence didn't get a pedestrian hurt or killed by a flung tire but I am extremely disappointed by their lack of professionalism & urgency dealing with this situation.
