I came in looking for specific part and looked all over not being able to find it, I saw online it said it was in stock at this location so I went up to the cashier, their name was Alexa/Lexi and she told me what aisle it was in. I responded saying I didn’t see it there and she said it was on the roller carts. So I went and looked again… nothing. I ended up finding it towards the register by myself instead so when I went to checkout with her I informed her that I found it in a different spot so she knew for next time. She said it “there are still some where I told you but that works too” then started to sign me up for rewards without asking and didn’t inform me what she was doing as I thought she was pulling up an account I already had because I’ve shopped at other autozones. When I realized she was making a new account for me I said “oh no thank you” As having multiple accounts with one place is a pain. After she checked me out and I swiped my card she looked at me smirking and said. “You know, if you signed up for rewards you could’ve saved a lot of money today.” I responded: “what do you mean?” “Well it’s 20% anything in the store.” “That would’ve been nice to know before I swiped my card.” She didn’t respond after that and just gave me a dirty look, so I left. Management please teach your staff to be more helpful and informative of any deals your store has to offer to your customers as this has resulted in me going to another store to return my items and shop elsewhere.
