First let me say I have rented numerous times from this location and I haven't experienced any long lasting negative experiences. With that said, my most recent attempted rental was very bad. It was so bad that I canceled it on the spot. Possibly because the usual young lady (Shasa) was not there to correct the problem. Or maybe because the manager is disinterested in the day to day operation. I was offered a vehicle that had cigarette burns in the door, worn out flooring and a filthy interior. I was told they would give me another car immediately. 2 minutes later, the car they promised was given to another couple who arrived after I arrived. They then stated they would prepare an inferior replacement and if I could continue to wait. The guy helping me appeared more than bothered that I was canceling my rental. During this entire interaction, not once did the manager come out and try to assist. Moving forward, I will make the 20 minute trip to an Enterprise further away to rent a car. The saddest part of this is I was a loyal and regular customer and no one cared. Now imagine how your experience will be if you show up for your first time. Thumbs down for Bay st Enterprise unfortunately 😕
