Cassie deserves the key to the city and if i had any cash on me she would have gotten all of it. thank you cassie!

They were able to code the car so it recognizes the new battery type and resets all the charging parameters correctly — something the VW dealer would’ve charged a hefty fee for. This is a new service they’re offering, and I was only the second customer they’ve done it for. The tech who helped me — she knew exactly what she was doing, everything worked perfectly afterward. Huge thanks to the crew — they saved me money, time, and a trip to the dealership. Highly recommend stopping at Advance Auto if you need a new battery this season. Great experience

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
