He recommended a low-mileage car that checked all the boxes. He was personable, easy to work with, and made the entire process stress-free. It was freezing the day I came in, and he still went out of his way to brush off the car, warm it up, and pull it up front for me to check out. Now, I know what you’re thinking “that’s his job” but he didn’t show any irritation at it which for me, as someone who can’t hide their facial expressions, that’s points in my book. Even better — the car was ready the next day, and when I showed up earlier than expected, he didn’t miss a beat. Everything was handled quickly and smoothly. Highly recommend Peake and especially Marcus if you’re looking for a smooth experience. Also, there were a couple of dogs there and let’s drop the act and be honest - who doesn’t love a good business with a couple of pooches just hanging out in their little fenced off space. And if you don’t like dogs, man’s best friend, while you’re missing out on that aspect of life you don’t have to miss out on a stress free car buying experience, so go to Peake.

After investigating, I discovered that the roof drain for the sunroof was disconnected, causing water to leak under the seat and damage the fuse box. This was discovered by a reputable shop, as Peake’s customer service was terrible. Peake did everything they could to avoid helping, even telling me I had to go through insurance for repairs. After a lot of back-and-forth, and with the support of the other shop, we were on the verge of getting our money back after being without a vehicle for almost two months. However, when I went in to sign the buyback paperwork, they still tried to shortchange me on the refund. Stay away from Peake. They will lie, make excuses, and try to cheat you out of every dollar. Their customer service and management need major improvements.
