On my visit to family in winter in between snow/ice storms, I discovered my windshield wipers were totally useless and a definite safety hazard. I stopped here on a whim while driving by on my way to Autozone, and the manager and tech were both so helpful- making sure I got the correct size and putting them on for me (which ended up not being as simple as it should have been). 10/10 recommend and will definitely come here for future car needs while in town.

So I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of or pressured into unnecessary repairs. The manager was great, honest, and friendly, and even worked with me on the price. He gave me a discount when I told him I could only afford the tires. I truly trust this shop and will definitely be back with my other vehicles. Highly recommend.

And once when they couldn't accomplish a job on my car even after an hour of effort, they didn't charge me. I hadn't been there in a couple years, but I needed an alignment and an inspection, so I made an appointment. Unbeknownst to me at that time, this once favorite company of mine had sold their soul and to Mavis, a company I no longer do business with because of their snotty customer service. I went ahead with the alignment and inspection anyway as I was there, but had no intention of returning again. Unfortunately, I did have to return... twice. When I drove away, I realized my steering wheel was not centered and immediately returned to have that corrected. After it was fixed and told "all good now", guess what. Yes, when I drove away the second time, the wheel was off in the other direction. Around the block and I was back again. This time they actually got it right. They did apologize and the people there are quite pleasant. However, what should have taken an hour and a half had now taken three. This is something I would definitely expect from Mavis, not Adirondack. I'm very sorry my goto tire shop is now my never ever goto shop. I only gave them a second star because the guys there were friendly and they were sorry about the mistakes. I would not recommend Mavis to anyone for anything.
