- RRRick Robinson3 days ago1.0Very short handed today. I arrived at 7:50 (10 minutes prior to opening) with only 7 cars ahead of me. I was only an inspection on our 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe. There were others for an inspectiononly as well. It took three hours before they finished my inspection. During the "advisory period" where the advisor suggests services according to the "manufacturers recommendation" the advisor told me "you are close to 15,000 miles and the manufacturer recommends the spark plugs be replaced at 15,000 miles) I declined as the actual manufacturers recommendation is 60,000 miles. Another customer spent almost $200 for her spark plugs to be replaced.

I watched as the floor was swept, printer paper restocked, and not one person so much as touched a car. I literally have no idea what they were doing in there, but it had nothing to do with automotive service. Not a single vehicle rolled out in FOURTY FIVE MINUTES. Then 10:30 rolled around, so it was time for a coffee break! That was the final straw and I was out of there. Congratulations Jiffy Lube, today you created a dedicated Midas customer for life!
