Do not recommend this place. My appt was at 10 am, for an inspection. It’s almost 11:30 as I write this and 30 mins ago I was told it was about to be brought back. Lies. My car is still sitting in the same spot I parked it. I’ve watched 3 others come in and have appts for 11.
Why allow people to book appointments knowing you only have one tech. Why continue to lie to people when they are inside your establishment. I will never do business with Monro again.

Two strikes and you are out in my book. Based on my past bad experiences with Monro when it comes to their technicians that routinely take short cuts and lie,I decided to put a dab of red nail polish on both front wheels in a fairly inconspicuous spot knowing that those wheels would need to be on the back of the car if they actually rotated the tires. I took a photo 20 minutes before my oil change and tire rotation that was time and date stamped for proof.
I spoke to the service manager when I brought my car in and advised him that I wanted the tires rotated while the oil was being changed. I reminded him multiple times during my wait of my last bad experience there for the same thing. I did not share with him how I knew last time they didn’t rotate the tires nor did I tell him about what I did this time with the nail polish on the wheels.
He assured me it would be done and it was part of my synthetic oil change anyway. So guess what,when my car was finished and brought to the front of the store for me to pick up i immediately went to check if the tires were rotated and sure enough they were not. I then went and confronted the technician and asked why he didn’t rotate the tires. His answer was,No one told him to. I said it was clearly marked on the work order and it was part of the oil change policy anyway. His response was now I didn’t read the work order and now was giving me attitude.
I told him he worked for me he would be fired and his response was,well I don’t. I then went to the service manager and told him what happened and he had my car brought back in for the tire rotation. Either this is an acceptable practice at this location or the employees are aware there are no consequences for defrauding the public. I now wonder what other tricks they are doing? Maybe using standard oil when you are paying for synthetic ? Clearly anything is possible here and don’t say you weren’t warned. Once again this exact thing happened to me on 2 different occasions with 2 different technicians about a year apart. No need to say anymore

I made an appointment weeks in advance to have my vehicle NY State Inspection completed at the Malta NY location. I was 15 minutes early for the appointment only to be informed that the only tech/inspector had called in and would not be at work that day. I was frustrated! The office individual said I could reschedule. I had to decline that offer as my schedule was not conducive to the re-scheduling. What assurance is there that the same wouldn’t have occurred at the re-schedule? I chose to go elsewhere .
I went to the Saratoga Springs NY location. The office individual was accommodating to allow my walk-in request but his only tech/inspector called and said he would be late to arrive. This inspector was an hour and fifteen minutes late. After 3 hours of waiting my vehicle was inspected. Thank you, seriously Thank you to them for getting me in. I could complain about the 3-hours wait and only one customer ahead of me but it got done. My main frustration is with the Malta location. Customers make appointments to minimize everyone’s inconvenience; both customer and shop. Having an appointment with Monro is a useless step for certain.
