    Two great experiences here. The first was for a NYS inspection, which unfortunately required replacing the rear brakes to pass. They were upfront and honest about the need, the reason, and the price. They took care of the brakes the same day and got me out on time with a passed inspection. More recently I went in because my headlight went out and required significant disassembly to access. They changed out both headlights for an outstanding price, and again had the vehicle for just a few hours. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. The workers are respectful to customers and each other, informative without condescending, very knowledgeable, and super efficient. I plan to make this my regular shop after moving away from my previous “go to” place.

    Miserable experience. The job was new tires and brakes. I asked them to check rotors at the same time to ensure they were ok. I was never brought back to see them nor given photo evidence that they were ok, just verbal confirmation. After 5 hours of waiting, they replaced brake pads but broke my brake sensors and advised me I would have to come back for the tires as scheduling a week ahead of time was not enough time to have the tires. After going back, it took an additional 5 hours a separate day to replace tires, however inspection was completed after tires and the car failed due to the technicians restarting the data of the car which did not allow gas emission readings to be read. After bringing the car to a separate location to have inspection done, i was informed the rotors needed to be replaced and should have been originally. We then had to go back and drop the car off to have rotors and ADDITIONAL brake pads installed which took 10 hours. Never going back. I do appreciate that the new manager was helpful with scheduling after realizing the past managers mistakes with the car, but not enough to retain a customer. While waiting for the car, there were other customers also experiencing things similar to me and walking out after waiting for 4 hours for their car to even be serviced for simple things such as oil changes or inspection.

    The staff at the Saratoga Springs NY Monro are fabulous as always and treat me as a human being and know who I am…which is why I find it disconcerting that Monro corporate now chooses to use a third party call service to take the initial call that doesn’t help cut to the customer’s needs…they TAKE the call, and communicate the fact that the call was taken without any nuance to the reason for the visit. It LITERALLY is a game of telephone that doesn’t help streamline the visit and frustrates the staff AND the customer. Whoever made the decision to outsource the third party call center as a streamline should spend some time actually working in one of the Monro Service Centers because whoever made that decision has no real world experience in trusting the staff to do their jobs and communicate with the clients. It now takes twice as much time to explain the issue that the customer has come to Monro to repair because you have added an outsourced level of bureaucracy. From my perspective, it is what a Private Equity consultant does because all they care about is ROI and not about customer care and empathy.

    The new owner makes this a TOTALLY new experience nothing like before NOW MATT is so professional care an will do anything to make whatever right!! He's gone out of his way remember ea customer! I've had a few battery, starter ,ties oil changes!!!! Wowwwwwie how many car repair shop can u trust BUT THIS ONE U CAN!!

    Only have been in there twice now but very clear that they are extremely trustworthy and thorough. The owner was also in there both times I was there and will do anything he can to work with you and help out in anyway. Will only be bringing my car here from now on.
