A short time later, my husband noticed the wiper was stuck in the upright position. He avoided using it further so as not to damage the motor. Despite this, we discovered that the incorrect blade had been installed, and it has now scratched my rear glass. When I contacted the company, I was told they do not even sell a wiper blade for my car’s model — meaning they should never have installed one in the first place. I should’ve never been sold the product! I’m very upset because I recently purchased my car in January. I trusted their expertise, and instead now my rear window has huge scratched that are very noticeable. I would like your company to provide the customer support phone number.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
