- QQQNov 9, 20251.0Terrible experience, will never come back, will actively dissuade people from coming here. Initially got my brakes done here because it was convenient. A few months later, I take my car to another shop and they tell me I need all new brakes again because Monro did not replace the rotors so the replaced pads were completely shredded. According to these local shop mechanics, anyone who doesn't replace rotors and pads, especially up here, isn't worth a lick. I don't know anything about that, but again, they didn't ask when I did my brakes if I wanted it all done. They just took my keys and walked away. I assumed they knew what they were doing. The guy at Monro I talked to refused to give me a refund so I could get my brakes done somewhere communicative and because I had a warranty, they redid my brake pads and the rotors now too. After I pick up my car, which reeked of cigarette smoke, I notice there's a huge scratch on the front passenger side. I called them about this and their response was essentially, "According to our records that we keep, that didn't happen so you can call our insurance company, but they go by what we write down on our reports, so nothing is going to happen for you." Cool, so a total waste of my time and now my car has a huge scratch.

Immediately after leaving I got a text from a Kenny that stated āhey if you wanna save my number for the future I can do work for you cheaperā. I thought this was inappropriate but was going to leave it. But now I have found that my car has been leaking oil so Iām suspicious and disgusted enough to leave a review. When I called the more trusted local shop Iāve used to have this looked at, I asked for other shop options because they couldnāt get me in until a ways out(why I went to monro in the first place). After a couple recommendations they flat out said they did not want to recommend the local Monro. They were not surprised when I told them my situation afterwards.
