- DHDaniel HawkinsDec 21, 20251.0I had my truck inspected here. Shortly after (within less then 50 miles) I had 2 ball joints fail causing close to 10k (+ or - )in damage. While Monroe after dealing with a few nasty people did pay to fix my truck and put me in a rental nothing was done about the value of my truck. Its now worth around 10k less then trucks with similar low mileage for the year. And after the last talks with them. I have no chance at recouping that value without paying for a lawyer that would cost about the same. That being said I would suggest going to another shop in saranac lake. While more expensive upfront you will save in the long run.

The call center person tried quoting me for a price for a new battery without even finding out the make and model of the car. On top of that they are scheduling appointments too close without knowing what kind of manpower is available in the shop. Get rid of the call center and keep one more job local, somebody at the location who knows the schedule and the repeat customer and their vehicles. You can't run a garage like booking.com.

The garage appeared to be very busy but they told us they would get to it as soon as possible.It had not been even two hours when they called and said it was all done. This has always been our experience with Don. No hassle, good price and always happy with the work .
