Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. I drive to this location from Syracuse, NY. I have had my vehicle serviced at this location for many years. My most recent visit was met with utter incompetence and an overall negative experience that has me seriously considering my patronage. A simple oil change, tire rotation, and overall check of the vehicle's brakes, was requested. My tires were rotated and left with improper air pressure that severely impacted driving ability. The technician stated they were unable to get the caps off in order to properly inflate/deflate the tires. If you cannot ensure safety or return the vehicle in the same condition it was given to you, then you DON'T perform that portion of the service. At the very least, you call the owner to notify them of the problem and allow them to decide how to proceed. My vehicle was returned with several indicator lights on that the technician did not know how to remove. After the oil change, my vehicle still indicated that it needed one. I needed to search the internet for the appropriate steps to reset the indicator lights myself. The car was also returned to me with the tire air pressure indicators ON which needed an entire system reset. I had my vehicle returned to me in worse condition than when it was serviced. I was only offered, "Sorry for the inconvenience." Disgruntled, I left Tallman's only needing to return 30 minutes later due to the drastic changes in my cars driving ability. I told the technician I was coming back and everything that was done to my vehicle, needed to be undone. I had to drive back to Rome, have work that was seemingly ill performed, re-done, and wasn't even offered a coupon or credit for my next oil change; just the hurried scurry of 2 employees that wanted to leave by noon, regardless on whether the job was done right.
