  I was buying two tires that would need mounting and asked for a NYS Inspection. I was asked each time for permission to fix a problem foreseen. The charges were a bit more than I had planned. But was confident in their work and their communicating each step in the process. I consider I am a new customer of Mr Tire. In

  I hit a notorious NY pothole and got a giant welt in my tire. I went to this location at 6:35+ pm expecting to be turned away because they close at 7 pm. Instead, they got me in and replaced my tire in 15-20 minutes. (The woman checking out when I got there ended their transaction with, "... I trust you guys.") They did it with style and a smile. Thank you! (I suspect they are often busy and cannot always be that immediate/quick, but I really, really appreciated it.) They even gave advice for getting NYDOT reimbursement. A+.

  Absolutely love coming here. Everyone here is super accommodating and helped us out in a pinch! Feel very comfortable coming here and am actually not stressed about it, especially being a female. I would recommend to friends and family and have brought some here already! Great prices, great service, and makes me feel very comfortable. Keep up the great work!!

  I had such a great experience at Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers on West Henrietta rd. From the moment I called to walking in, everyone was kind, respectful, and really took their time with me. They were extremely thorough—explaining everything that was going on with my car and even showing me, which made me feel so much more comfortable and confident about the money I was spending. As a young woman, I’ve been to quite a few auto shops around Rochester where I felt dismissed or felt like people assumed I was naive when it came to knowing anything about a car. That was NOT the case here at all. They treated me with honesty and respect, and I truly appreciated that. The shop was also calm and not busy, which made the whole experience feel even more relaxed and personal. I previously went to the Irondequoit location and had a completely different experience—So I’m really thankful I found this location. Mr. Tire should be very proud of all the gentlemen he has working at this location. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for trustworthy, thorough service!

  I had a very upsetting experience with the front desk representative at Mr. Tire Auto Service on April 3. I had just bought a used car, and the dealership only allowed a 3–4 hour test drive window. I originally booked a pre-purchase inspection with Monro in Rochester, but when I arrived on time, they told me no mechanic was available. I then called Monro customer service, and they scheduled me for a 4:30 PM appointment at Mr. Tire Auto Service, explaining that they operate under the same system. When I arrived at Mr. Tire around 2:00 PM, the situation became extremely frustrating. The representative initially said they had no record of my appointment. I stepped outside to call customer service, who confirmed that the booking existed, although I had not yet received the confirmation email. Despite this, the representative repeatedly told me to go to another store on the same street, even after I explained that my appointment was specifically scheduled at this location. During a follow-up call, customer service spoke directly with him on the phone. He was very rude, dismissed the situation, and even made an inappropriate comment about our English, saying “they are bad English,” before hanging up. This was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. We may not speak perfect English, but we are still CUSTOMERS, and we communicated clearly enough to schedule and confirm an appointment. After I received the confirmation email and showed it to him, I asked a simple question: whether he would honor the 4:30 PM appointment or not. In front of customer service on the phone, he refused and said they were too busy. His tone and behavior throughout the interaction were dismissive, impolite, and unhelpful. Additionally, as a woman, I felt that his attitude toward me was disrespectful and intimidating. The way I was treated made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected, which is unacceptable in any customer service setting. This experience affected me more than expected—I could not sleep and it has impacted my mental well-being. I am writing this review at 1:14 AM because I am still feeling stressed about what happened. If I could give negative stars, I would rate this experience -10. If you want to avoid frustration and disrespect, I strongly recommend staying away from this location.
