  Stop in to Monroe muffler at 999 east ridge rd Rochester NY on 5/7/2026 was greeted by Juliette and Jordon, they both help me with my brake issues. they knew what I needed and walked me through every step of what was needed and how much it would cost. they were friendly and very accommodating. I will be going back for all of my Vehicle needs. its very important to be able to trust the team that works on a $75,000 Truck. Thank you so much for all your help!!!!! Rick

  Brought in my 2005 Honda CRV with check engine light and a P0420 code.They told me that it needed a new catalytic converter and 2 oxygen sensors . I said ok do it plus and oil and filter change and a NYS inspection. 5 days later Monroe called and said it was all done. I came to pick it up paid a bill of $1710.35. They gave me my keys started it up got on the road and the check engine light came right on. Stopped at a light and the car kept wanting to stall and was running real rough. The car ran perfect before they did the repairs even with the check engine light on. So I drove right back there. Told them what was happening. Their response was that I needed to drive it around for like 50 mile to reset the monitors . I told them it doesn't want to stay running. So they told me to leave it with them. They called back on Friday saying it was all set. Went on Saturday to pick it up and saw them trying to get it to pass the NYS inspection and it wouldn't. They told me I needed to drive for 50 miles to reset the monitors. I said ok , and that's exactly what I did . I drove almost 100 miles and check engine light would not go off and the car still wanted to stall and was running rough. At that point I lost all faith in their mechanical know how so I brought it to a REAL Mechanic. What they found was the 2 oxygen sensors were in reverse order . They put them in the right order and check engine went off and my car runs perfect. Cost me and additional $356.40 that I demand that Monroe reimburse!! Or else !! .

  Went in for a catalytic converter replacement and it was the worst experience car wasn't test driven after so I did test it and returned in a few minutes due to noise was told it's your converter but that's what I just paid you to replace.the staff seemed very nice until I paid for the service then any issues after wasn't their concern.its been such an horrible experience trusting that your paying for a quality service.yet these mechanics do more damage than corrections which costs you more and they never wanna take responsibility back years ago monro was the go to place the old owners took care of the customers these new owners not so much.it was a learning experience I won't make again

  I wanted to thank the team at this Monro for giving me great service. My car needed a starter, but it also had a wiring problem that Luis V did a great job replacing the starter and showing us the wiring problem. We did have to take it to the dealer to get the wiring fixed but appreciate Luis and his help putting in the starter and diagnosing the problem. Highly recommend you take your car to Monro on E Ridge!
