  I’ve been bringing my car here for years, and last week I came in for an inspection and oil change. Passed inspection needing one lightbulb and picked up the next day. The car was generating a horrible smell- I figured they had spilled a little oil and it needed to burn off. The next day my car was spewing oil all over the engine, dripping as I drove, making puddles when I stopped, and creating a smell so strong I couldn’t drive with the windows closed. I called and they asked me to come back so they could trouble shoot. After investigating, they told me they had installed a faulty cap on the oil filter that caused the leakage. They’d repair it and clean the engine at no cost. Picked up the car and within a mile black smoke was coming from under the hood. Returned to the shop- they checked and said there’s now a crack in the engine where the oil leaks out. This crack was not present when I dropped off the car. They said they’d try to have it welded. Days later, I had to call multiple times until I got someone to tell me they hadn’t been able to fix it and I need to arrange to have my car towed elsewhere. I dropped off a completely functional vehicle for routine maintenance and now I have to tow my broken down car. They need to make this right.

  Manager sucessfully juggled many many different issues wirh Customers, phone calls, etc., and managed to get to my NYS inspection before closing. I'm sure inspections don't make the shop much money, if any, but yoy wouldn't know it in the way I was treated. Very satisfied. Thanks!

  Damon was very professional and treated me and my daughter respectfully. Because as women that is often not the case, and because my family are mechanics for generations, I’m used to noticing at any given automotive shop when I am being treated different from my husband. He not only took care of my daughter’s tires. He was honest and helpful. He took a minute to give her a lesson about her car and tire maintenance at my request so she could handle future situations better. He put customer service first at every step.

  Billy is the best. We’re regular customers for both our vehicles. The team here has always gone above and beyond but today, on the day we are supposed to head out for a road trip, we noticed a slow leak in our tire. Brought it in, they found it (it was on the rim/seal, not the tire so it took a min) and they sealed it right back up. Christmas trip is saved!

  The gentleman who helped me out was fantastic! It turned out I needed my windshield wipers replaced In order to pass my New York State inspection. Since I had no idea what kind my vehicle took, he took the time calling a bunch of different places for me. I was able to get them right away. And he still squeezed me in for my inspection that evening , even though they were absolutely slammed. He truly went above and beyond. I’ve been here before numerous times over the past 10yrs or so and I always recommend Monro to everybody- I’ve always been happy with not just their service but also their prices. Thank you so much!
