- SESheri EdgecombJan 5, 20263.0Came here recently to find a leak on a tire. After a few hours they called and said the car was ready. When I arrived to pick up I asked what they had found and the manager couldn't answer. The charge was only $37, so I didn't worry about it too much. After I went home the tire was still going low so I stopped by to ask them to take another look. My receipt referenced the wrong tire and I feel certain that I had asked them to look at the wrong one. My mistake, so I wasn't asking for any money back. A different person was checking me in and was surprised that I had been charged, since it was clear nothing was fixed. I was also a little surprised that they hadn't called me to say they hadn't found anything and verify which tire I meant. Towards the end of checking in the manager, Matt, came in, recognized that I was back and before learning anything about why I was there he tersely told the other employee that he wasn't going to get my car in that day because they had other customers. Clearly, my experience wasn't horrible. I just wish they had taken a couple of extra moments to clear things up on the first visit and had been more polite on the second visit. In the end I found Mr. Tire just down the road and got great same day service.

- BMBianca MarieDec 12, 20255.0I recently got work done for a lower ball joint and outer tie rod at another mechanic. Thinking my car was now safe I went on to Mavis to get an alignment. Matt the mechanic at Mavis let me know that my ball joint was not properly done, it was missing the correct nut and had no washer and that it was extremely dangerous for me to be driving. He was so thorough, he explained everything in detail and showed me exactly what everything was. He’s very experienced and kind, I appreciate him SO much. If it wasn’t for him I’d have never known and this could have been a fatal situation for my special needs son and myself or anyone else on the road. Thank you Matt!
