- TRTimothy RixnerNov 13, 20253.0Stopped in to get a new battery only to be told incorrectly that it needed to be "coded". Service member who checked me out had ear buds in the entire time and didn't really seem like they wanted to help. I ended up grabbing the battery I needed, taking it to the counter, being upsold for a battery install anti corrosion kit which I changed my mind on and it wasn't removed from the total after I decided it wasn't necessary. New store, well organized and very clean but the staff and service is less than ideal.

No tools etc... went to auto zone where the manager Dennis literally left his job, drove me back to the doctors office lot and installed my car battery for me! Honestly, I was so grateful to be treated with such kindness, especially in the freezing cold. I just wanted to shared my appreciation. There are still great people who go above and beyond for others. EPIC!!

On a ‘21 Chrysler Voyager, I hadn’t deactivated the parking brake before removing pads and the caliper max extended, couldn’t fit a tool in to separate. Used a hammer to close until tool fit, let out fluid as well. Anyway, turns out there was air backed up into ABS system which wasn't released with normal bleeding. Symptom was a pedal that worked first 1/4, then soft til last 1/4. Fix was heavy braking on test drive, then re-bleed. Who cares? Kayla at this AutoZone, brand new location, heard my concern and thoughtfully considered possibilities and recommended best solutions including re-bleeding lines. Sometimes as a DIYer, you face new challenges like electronic parking brake activation mid brake job. It’s nice having someone knowledgeable in your corner and that’s what I had today with her. The entire staff was great truly.

Kaleb and I believe his supervisor gave me the best battery within my budget, installed it in 20 minutes, and it all came with a 1 year warranty. I cannot thank them enough for being so kind and helpful and I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone with car trouble!!!
