  I was in a hurry and walked in looking for something specific that I had bought at an Auto Zone closer to my house. I was speaking to the gentleman closest to the door trying to explain to him what I was looking for when an older lady that works there interrupted us. She was extremely rude and made me feel like I was stupid for even asking for this thing. I was so embarrassed I just left and went back to the AutoZone I originally bought it at. Its hard enough as a woman to go into an Auto store and not know exactly what you need. I would think as woman this employee would have wanted to be more helpful. Instead she just looked at me like I was stupid and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I definitely won't be showing my face back in there again.

  Store manager Is very disrespectful and nasty to customers when she’s in a bad mood. Not only yelled, but also threatened me before I left the store. Was very judgmental and try to watch me while I was in the store because I am black. I’ve never been more disgusted by a human being. Then, my aunt called into the store because she’s handicap and couldn’t walk in. She wanted to know what happened so that she could get me to apologize, but the store manager hung up in her face as she was asking about the situation. Definitely not a good place to go if you need help, just a go and get it yourself kind of place. Definitely wouldn’t give it a star if I didn’t have to

  The manager “Sue“ and Service tech “Austin“ and the other fellow who was tall had glasses and looks like he works out. We’re tremendously helpful with all of my needs. They went above and beyond the call of duty to help a World War II veteran on a cane with his battery installation issue. Even though they couldn’t do the work themselves, they made arrangements for him to have it done elsewhere. Very good human beings a pleasure doing business with them and this is my go to for local auto parts needs.

  Very unfortunate experience. I stopped by to recycle a few gallons of oil. Upon entry, a female employee told me she would take the oil but would not take the containers, which seemed odd since in the past I’ve simply dropped off the oil and left. I then handed the oil to another employee, who took it to the back to dump. After patiently waiting about 10 minutes, I asked the female employee if he was coming back. She quickly replied that it had “only been 3 minutes” and that he had to walk very far to dump the oil. Five minutes later, the employee finally returned with my empty jugs. This was not the quick, straightforward stop I expected. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location. Advance Auto next door will continue to be my first choice.
