Store was virtually empty (Saturday mid-afternoon) except for two customers & myself waiting... waiting... waiting...... and waiting to cash out! Six minutes later and... what was so frustrating about the whole ordeal was this ADVANCED AUTO REPRESENTATIVE guy behind the counter didn't even "acknowledge" the three of us standing right in front of him! One guy asked if anyone else was working and the reply... "No ...he's in the bathroom ". After another minute and a half, I went back to the shelf where I previously plchose a 'single' bottle of wheel cleaner, carefully read its pricing, and came back to the counter... where it looked like time had stood still. I placed 2X the purchase price in cash on top of his register's keyboard, telling him, "$20 should certainly cover it!", then stormed out! He still appeared unphased, but at least said, "Thank you". I'll definitely find ANOTHER location other than Monroe Avenue/Goodman Street next time, but I'm leaning towards AUTO ZONE for future decisions. RIDICULOUS!!!!
