  I recently had my vehicles tire fixed at Mavis Discount Tire, and overall my experience was positive. The staff was professional, and took the time to explain what my car needed and the options available for me. I would recommend Mavis Discount Tire to anyone looking for reliable, fairly priced tire and basic auto services.

  Joe and his team are great! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The process of making an appointment was online painless, and they even lent be a phone charger lol. My flat was fixed within the hour. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you guys so much!!

  This is my second experience with this location. They have been very helpful, completing repairs in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. I had a slow leak from a nail in my tire, called them during the day and was able to get a patch that same day. I recently needed new tires after finding a bubble in the sidewall of one of mine. They were the only service center location in Riverhead that had my tire size in stock and could replace my tires that same day!

  Absolutely amazed at what I witnessed yesterday. A guest destroyed the older gentleman behind the counter, while he stood there with poise and calmness. I even said to the fellow customer later on how horrible he treated that elderly worker. These guys took such great care of everyone who comes in their store. JOE AND NEIL are a blessing to mavis and deserve a raise for what they experienced yesterday. Some people dont understand respect and dignity!

  Two main points that are problematic with this Mavis location. 1. The lack of respect for customers time 2. The very crucial inability for the front desk to communicate effectively with the technicians in back. Gave me a 9:00 AM appointment and didn’t start working on my car until after 10:30 AM. Clearly told the desk attendant the work I wanted done. It was done incorrectly and needed to be done over. ***3/19/26 UPDATE*** After my visit to the shop and after posting the above review, I wrote an email to the CEO of the company. It was extensive and described my entire experience. On Tuesday, the day after, I received a voice message from Liz, a regional manager responsible for the Riverhead store. When I spoke with her, she listened to me. She apologized. She said she had spoken to the staff at the shop. She wanted to make it right. She offered me an oil change, ultimately I took a 10 to 11% discount on the work that I had done as a refund. I appreciated her making the effort, she said the problems had been addressed. The store manager called me later in the day to get my credit card information to process the refund and said that Liz asked if I wouldn’t mind going onto the Google review and editing it. Hence, this update.
