Went to return two rear brake calipers for my vehicle for core refund. The associate that greeted me at the register was overly skeptical, disrespectful, and rude.
I displayed, by my error, the wrong card for the refund, which turned into a spiel of the associate behind the register processing my core refund to state VERBATIM "well now you have created a problem." Excuse me? What?
The calipers I was then returning were removed from my possession, and placed away, behind the register. These calipers were still MY PROPERTY. I demanded that it does not matter which card I have, I've already displayed everything else, and that I want the core. I expressed that my bank changed debit cards recently, and was very honest and forthcoming through the whole experience.
Not only do I come here personally, but my business also works with AutoZone. Not anymore though.
There is a zero tolerance for this type of behavior, especially in customer service. My patience and kindness was treated with negligence and overzealousy.
Needless to say, after stating regardless of debit card I want the refund for the core and it needs to happen, and I got my refund.
How am I going to come here for a core refund and then be told that I'm making a problem, when I've been nothing but honest kind and forthcoming? I even called ahead, they knew I was coming.
Looks like Advance Auto parts is going to become my new best friend or I'm just going to go back to Napa, but AutoZone is as far as I'm concerned a dub and I'm not coming here professionally or personally again. Regardless of location.
If this is how you're going to treat me, I could only imagine how somebody a little less reserved would be treated.
Disgusting behavior. And I mean it. The complete antithesis of customer service. Do better.

If I could go negative stars I would and it's not even at one of there employees it's every single one of them that I dealt with which is about 7 of them, from making me pay $40 bucks for a Uber to come get a part that isn't there when they confirmed it was before I called Uber then I bought my 3 caliper in Uber 2 weeks cus I spend great money there not good and they lie to me on when it would be delivered after paying my mechanic all day to sit and wait for part it NEVER CAME!!! Then when I called 10 mins before they closed to see where my part was I told them I'll he there in 5 mind for my refund I decided not to go last night and went first thing this morning and after being told I can come back past night for refund by a manager this mornings manager tells me he can't refund with out the part being there!!!! You clearly don't need any schooling to obtain this job they should fire the whole crew and start from scratch worse experience ever and this is how they treat me after spending 1000 bucks in a week!!!!!!
