  I had a weird issue with my headlights. Called up and explained the issue, and John got me in the very same day. Issue was resolved quickly and the price was more than fair. I haven't felt good hometown customer service like this in a long time, and I truly appreciated it. Highly recommend this Monro and I will return for future services!! If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would! Thanks so much for helping me today.

  I've had good service whenever I've dealt with Monroe at the East Greenbush location. Have never been told I needed anything that was not necessary. John (mngr), Chris and Dave are always helpful and informative of what's going on with any vehicle I bring there.

  We had come back from a long day in NYC and the back tire on my friends car was low and not taking any air. We had tried at two gas stations with no luck. We were desperate as everything around us was closed and we had multiple bags and suitcases to get home—three very tired adults and one six year old. I saw Monro was open until 7, and about two miles from where we were. We made a phone call and they were booked up for the night, but the employee got his manager on the phone who agreed to at least look to see if they could do something for us. We pulled into the parking lot around 6:45 smelling of burnt rubber and hearing the grinding of the rim on the road. The mechanic stayed until 7:30 and showed us how the tire was shredded completely on the inside. They unfortunately didn’t have a new tire to fit the car, but he was able to get a spare/older tire on to get us home so we could figure things out the next day. When we walked up to pay, the mechanic refused. We asked to pay for his time, he said it was all good. The fact that these folks fit us in last minute, hooked us up with an old tire, and refused to take our money says a lot about the crew at this station. Thank you to the technician working the night shift on 2/19/2026. You literally saved us from a way more intense, exhausting and rough night. Above and beyond in every way.

  The staff was amazing. First time I went to an auto shop and they didn’t try to over charge me. I was impressed with my service. I will be going back to get all my car services done. Thank you

  Really disappointed in the longevity of repairs. Guys were nice at time of service but they must use cheap parts. I had a complete brake job over $1200. Didn't even last a year and I don't drive a lot. This was supposed to be under warranty but I was told I'd still need to pay for labor (which I didnt have). These parts should have lasted several years and they made it 10 months. I live on social security and had no choice but to drive my car in a very unsafe condition. Will not return. Also corporate did not care.
