  I wish i could give this place negative stars. Was there in November due to a flat tire. They noticed bad brakes and rotors so that was replaced which I'm guessing wasn't really needed but still cost a ton. No more than 3 months later I'm trying to get an inspection. It fails because the brakes were done wrong says the mechanic. I bring it back. Wouldn't you know it, nothing covered under the warranty and another cost of 400. This is a place of crooks and thieves. Go somewhere else. You'll be kicking yourself if you don't. Edit: I'm getting the inspection and the caliper they just installed at Mavis was leaking. This was less then 2 hours later.

  I had a really positive experience at Mavis Discount Tire thanks to the manager, John. I needed new tires and he was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain my options clearly, answered all of my questions, and helped me choose tires that were safe and within my budget. I appreciated that he was honest and didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need. Most importantly, he made sure my car was safe for me and my daughter. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free. I would definitely recommend this location and appreciate John going the extra mile to help!

  Made an appointment online for an inspection and oil change. Arrived and was told that there is no one available for inspections. I called to inquire after and was told by Brendan that they have not had anyone for months to do inspections. After being hung up, John called me back and was very snotty “we have no way to control what is set up online”.

  Chelsea Maloney 5 photos 3 minutes ago New I bought a new to me car that needed nothing but new tires. I came to the east Greenbush location and paid for 4 tires, installment, and recycling of my old tires, very shortly after the service the car started having transmission and traction control issues and throwing check engine codes that despite repairing SEVERAL times did not resolve. This rendered a single mother of four kids without a vehicle to get to and from work, school, or appointments. I noticed despite hardly driving that the tread on my front driver side tire was completely worn on the inside and brought it to the closest tire store to my home, only to find out that Mavis had put a different size tire on that one compared to all of the rest. No shop or tire place will touch this car now as it is their liability for the damage caused. I returned to the store with the receipt where the manager acknowledged not only that it happened but that the employees KNEW it and covered it up by putting on the receipt that it was a carry out despite being installed and an alignment on site. When I explained to the manager that the car began having all of these problems just after the tires were put on he looked me in the eyes and said “it’s an all wheel drive vehicle isn’t it?” He took my name and number and promised to be in touch the next day, it’s been over two weeks at this point, with no answers. I have returned to the store 4 times and tried to follow up as instructed every day just to be dodged by the store manager and the corporate manager. After two weeks I was told the car needed to be brought down in person despite not having the ability to drive it safely because of their mistake. I will have to pay to have to have this car towed to the location without even knowing if they will be righting their wrong when I get there. I made a mistake going here, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
