  I had a great experience with Safelite. I was initially worried about my stickers and E-ZPass being removed during the windshield replacement, but my technician carefully put everything back on the new glass. He introduced himself before starting the service, explained everything clearly, and asked if I had any questions. The whole process took about an hour and 20 minutes, and I was able to wait comfortably in the waiting room while the work was done. My insurance covered the replacement, which made things even easier. I originally thought my spider crack could be sealed, but due to the length, the windshield needed to be replaced. My technician was very nice, informative, quick, and left everything clean. Overall, a very smooth experience.

  I did NOT drop off and Go. I waited around the area with NO Status Update. I called 3 hours later to be told it was done. WHY Did I have to Call?. I was NOT The ONLY One Who complained of this. Front Desk Should Really Be responsible for this. Techs are doing what they do. HORRIBLE Location- Go to another location!

  This was my first time using this company and having this service performed. I used their website and it was definitely easy with no hassle. Found the location with ease, the staff was pleasant, courteous and helpful. My 4 star rating is only because I have to go back as they didn’t mount something properly and my windows now come back down when I close them. Wasn’t happening before getting my front windshield replaced. Other than that, this was definitely cheaper than going through my insurance and I am satisfied with my replacement.

  My windshield got smashed after a chunk of ice flew off a semi. Called, got an appointment and they do a great job! Quick and efficient.

  I went to their Astoria location for my car's windshield replacement. Let's just say that they went above and beyond to pass me off but I kept my cool. How would respond if a tech brought your car back and said to you, "yeah! We cut off the wire to your dashcam. It's an aftermarket item. We don't cover that." Deliberately cutting off a wire without asking the customer is the height of impunity and unprofessionalism. After driving for about a block the car felt like an oven. The humidity sensor under the rear view wasn't calibrated properly and was telling the car to defrost. The IR night vision camera wasn't properly calibrated and was pointing up. The rubber seals on the trim weren't properly installed or cut. When I brought the car back to them instead of recalibrating they did an OBD Scan and brought me a paper report riddled with sensor related faults. They told me to take the car their preferred shop to see if it was a calibration fault or a car issue and even gave me an address. Talk of asking the fox to guard the hen house! I refused and said that I'd take the car to the dealership. I was very excited at first to read the posted signs in the waiting room saying how their techs are trained to deal with sophisticated stuff. I'm not a happy camper!
