  The Team at Valvoline are always highly capable, polite, respectful and professional. There are this way no matter what day of the week I go or what time of day. I get my oil changed every 3 months due to my car having high miles. I have found that I have been having other services done more and more as the years go by and they never disappoint.

  Never drained the old oil so car stalled and had to go to a shop. Manager took fault but GM didn’t so they refused to help or fix it.

  I went to Valvoline on Duchess Turnpike in Poughkeepsie, New York. They did a really great job while I remained in my car. The oil change was great. They workers were very nice and friendly. They knew exactly what they were doing and I really appreciate them. I have a dodge Durango and I doesn’t trust my car to just anyone but this place is the greatest and the price wasn’t bad at all.   Warning! My experience with Valvoline Poughkeepsie NY Friday. - oil change. Saturday - car starts to spit and sputter Sunday - car completely loses power, misfirings, dying I called Valvoline, Assistant Manager comes to my location, purchases a styrofoam cooler, jacks up my car and drains at least 3 quarts of black oil out. Advises that most likely they did not drain the old oil out and just added the new oil on top of old. After this I take car to repair shop Diagnosis - spark plugs are saturated with oil, many codes on registering on meter, low pressure I continue to call Valvoline and create a case, District Manager comes out to repair shop and is very cocky and insists that it is no fault of a valvoline. The manager and assistant manager pretty much admit that it occurs and they probably did not drain out the old oil. The District Manager says it could have many scenarios. In the long run Valvoline did not drain out my old oil and added new oil to the old. My car had about 10 quarts of oil in it and started to cease my engine. I would not go to this business. They do very low quality unprofessional work. Save yourself the expense and abuse.
